Jay W. Albovias, MD, is an interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management, treatments for peripheral arterial disease and deep venous thrombosis, uterine fibroid embolization, varicose vein treatment, pelvic congestion syndrome, varicocele embolization, chemoembolization, venous access, biopsy and drainage. He is the Medical Director of Azura Vascular Care St. Louis in Florissant, Missouri.
Dr. Albovias is a graduate of University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed an internship in surgery and a residency in radiology at St. Louis University Hospital in addition to a fellowship in interventional radiology at the North Carolina Hospital Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University.
Dr. Albovias is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology, the Radiologic Society of North America, the Missouri State Medical Association and the Midwest Interventional Radiology Society. He also serves as a journal reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
