Dr. Preddie earned both his masters and medical degrees at Washington University in St. Louis and completed internal medicine residency training at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After completing subspecialty training in nephrology at Columbia University in New York City, he joined their faculty as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, specializing in glomerular diseases, hypertension and critical care, as well as acute and chronic dialysis management.
Dr. Preddie’s commitment to improving vascular access options for his dialysis patients led him to undergo training with Dr. Gregg Miller, MD, an expert in dialysis vascular access care. He continued to hone his skills with Dr. Miller while maintaining his clinical responsibilities at Columbia University before accepting the invitation to join Fresenius Vascular Care full-time to support the physician training program at the Brooklyn location.
Dr. Preddie maintains an appointment as an adjunct clinical professor of medicine in the Columbia University Division of Nephrology. He is a member of the American and International Societies of Nephrology as well as the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
Dr. Preddie is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
