Rishi Razdan, MD, is a vascular and interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management and minimally invasive treatments for venous insufficiency, uterine fibroids, chronic pelvic pain and varicoceles, while offering non-narcotic pain management and migraine therapy. Dr. Razdan is the Medical Director at American Access Care of Jacksonville.
Dr. Razdan is a graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. He completed his residency in Connecticut and was appointed Chief Resident during the final year of his training, prior to completing his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Yale University–Yale New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Razdan is a fellow of the American Board of Radiology. He’s also a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America, while maintaining good standing with several other professional societies and organizations. He has lectured at numerous national meetings where he has also presented various publications in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, he was nominated for St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers’ 2013 Award for Physician Excellence for his dedication to patients’ well-being and skill in radiology.
Dr. Razdan has co-authored papers published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, including a study investigating AV fistula salvage in those that have failed to mature and another study demonstrating the lack of significant intimal hyperplasia in endovascular stent grafts. He continues to research venous disease and other areas of vascular and interventional radiology with a special interest in the treatment of recurrent venous disease. Dr. Razdan is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in vascular and interventional radiology.
