Gene Savransky, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. Dr. Savransky is the Medical Director of American Access Care of New York, Bellmore, providing critical maintenance and management of vascular access for dialysis patients.
Dr. Savransky is a graduate of the Kharkiv State Medical Academy in Ukraine. After immigrating to the United States, he completed residency and fellowship training in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care.
Dr. Savransky was the Medical Director of the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Montefiore Medical Center and currently holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He was trained in vascular procedures by published experts and has co-authored numerous articles on vascular repair techniques.
Dr. Savransky is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
