Mark Borenstein, MD, is an interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management and also the minimally invasive treatment for peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Dr. Borenstein provides critical maintenance, management and treatment of vascular accesses for dialysis patients. He is the Medical Director of Michiana Regional Vascular Center in Mishawaka, Indiana.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree with high distinction from the University of Michigan, Dr. Borenstein earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed a fellowship in angiography and interventional radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and a second fellowship in vascular/interventional radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Dr. Borenstein is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is certified in lithotripsy and kyphoplasty. He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Radiology Society of North America, and he has co-authored articles published in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Borenstein is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
