Located in Union, NJ, we specialize in minimally invasive treatments for vascular conditions. Our fellowship trained and board certified Medical Director, Dr. Eric DeLaura, specializes in a range of minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures. Prompt appointments: For our dialysis access management patients we offer same day/next day appointments when at all possible, allowing you to return to dialysis quickly. Convenient scheduling of appointments is also available for the other treatments we provide. At our center, patients avoid the complexities of a hospital admission, allowing you to return home to recover that same day.

Exceptional patient care: Patients encounter a team that is courteous and respectful. Individual needs are accommodated to ensure patients are comfortable.

Efficient and customized communication: Immediate post-procedure reports are sent to your referring physicians, and comprehensive reports follow within 24 hours after the procedure. We partner with your physician care team, focusing on coordinating your vascular care.

Educational programs: We provide opportunities for patients to enhance their understanding of their vascular condition. We actively encourage patients to become their own experts by providing educational support through our website, patient brochures, and educational sessions.

Dialysis Access Management

Eric J. DeLaura, DO

Dr. Eric DeLaura is an interventional radiologist specializing in minimally invasive treatments including dialysis access management, uterine fibroid embolization and varicose vein treatments.  Dr. DeLaura is the Medical Director of Azura Vascular Care Union in Union, New Jersey.

Dr. DeLaura earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital and a vascular interventional radiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. DeLaura follows a holistic, well-rounded philosophy on patient care that is incorporated into every treatment plan.  His thorough approach and personable nature puts his patients at ease.

Dr. DeLaura is board certified in diagnostic radiology.

Dr. Song

Mark Song, MD

Mark Song, MD is a vascular surgeon with more than 20 years expertise specializing in minimally invasive dialysis access maintenance procedures including arteriovenous fistula and graft examination for endovascular intervention, as well as catheter placement and management for hemodialysis patients. Dr. Song treats patients at Azura Vascular Care Union in Union, New Jersey.

Dr. Song earned his medical doctorate from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center Brooklyn, New York where he also completed his residency and fellowship in vascular surgery. He is active in vascular surgery professional associations including serving as Secretary and President Elect New York Society for Vascular Surgery and is a member of the Board of Directors at Brooklyn and Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Song has contributed to research and published extensively in professional journals including The FASEB Journal, American Journal of Cardiology and the Journal of the Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology, among others. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery-General Surgery and Vascular Surgery and the National Medical Board of Examiners.

Walead Latif, Interventional Nephrologist, Medical Director

Walead Latif, DO

Walead Latif, DO is an Interventional Nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. Dr. Latif provides critical maintenance and management of vascular access for dialysis patients. He treats patients at Azura Vascular Care Union, in Union, New Jersey.

A New Jersey native, Dr. Latif earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and graduated with honors from University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey Osteopathic School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency and a nephrology fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Latif currently serves as a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Azura Vascular Care. Dr. Latif plays an active role in bringing awareness to the dialysis patient community through educational lectures.

Dr. Latif is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
