Murat Sor

Murat Sor, MD

Murat Sor, MD, is an interventional radiologist and a leader in the field of vascular and interventional radiology, dialysis access management, and venous insufficiency. Dr. Sor also specializes in minimally invasive treatments for uterine fibroids, peripheral artery disease, varicoceles and more. He is the medical director of HealthQare Associates in Arlington, Virginia.

In addition to his role as HealthQare’s Medical Director, Dr. Sor is Senior Vice President and of Azura Vascular Care and serves on its Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Sor is responsible for developing clinical strategies to ensure that the caliber of medical services Azura centers provide represents the highest standards of quality care and clinical outcomes. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in healthcare performance improvement as a practicing physician, Dr. Sor is the clinical leader of the organization and can best be described as a consensus builder with a collaborative style.

Dr. Sor earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and his residency in radiology and fellowship in interventional radiology at George Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Sor serves as an assistant professor at Georgetown University. Interventional Radiology Fellows rotate through HealthQare Associates as part of their training, gaining invaluable experience in the outpatient vascular access environment.

Dr. Sor has been named as a Washingtonian “Top Doctor” in interventional radiology for the years 2005, 2008 and 2017. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty certificate in interventional radiology.

Thomas Cade Raggio, MD

Dr. Cade Raggio, MD is an interventional radiologist specializing in vascular and interventional radiology with several special areas of interest including uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), venous insufficiency, and interventional oncology. Dr. Raggio performs procedures at HealthQare Associates in Arlington, Virginia.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University, Dr. Raggio was awarded a medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internship in general medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago followed by a residency in radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC where he was named “Outstanding Resident of the Year” and was elected to serve as Chief Resident.  He completed fellowship training in interventional radiology at Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Raggio is an active member of the Society of Interventional radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Kevin Lowery is an interventional nephrologist specializing in Dialysis Access Maintenance, Fistulagrams, Angioplasty, Thrombectomy, Dialysis Catheter placement and Exchange.Dr. Lowery treats patients at HealthQare Services, ASC, in Arlington, Virginia using the most up-to-date, pain-free techniques to help patients improve their quality of life.

Dr. Lowery earned his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, followed by a fellowship in nephrology at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.

Dr. Lowery holds a certification in ASDIN Hemodialysis Vascular Access Procedures, and is board certified in nephrology.

Magdalena Lewandowski is a Physician Assistant at HealthQare Associates, in Arlington, VA. She assists in procedures such as: venous access including peripherally inserted central catheters, tunneled and non-tunneled central lines, dialysis access and implantable ports, dialysis access angiography, angioplasty, venous ablation, sclerotherapy and microphlebectomy. She also assists in consultations.

Magdalena earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University in Durham, NC. She continued her education and received a Master of Health Sciences and completed her Physician Assistant Certificate within the Duke University Physician Assistant Program.

Magdalena is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
