At HealthQare Services, ASC, LLC, we offer a complete line of vascular services, including dialysis access management, vascular access, varicose and spider vein treatments, women’s health, and peripheral artery disease screening and treatment in a convenient and comfortable outpatient setting. Medical Director Dr. Murat Sor, Dr. Cade Raggio and our highly trained clinical team specialize in a complete range of interventional radiology procedures, including dialysis access management, kyphoplasty, and pain management injections, as well as for the minimally invasive treatment of peripheral artery disease, uterine fibroids, varicose veins and varicoceles. Our team of fellowship-trained and board-certified interventional radiologists uses the latest minimally invasive technology to improve the well-being of each patient that walks through our doors.

Physicians

Murat Sor, Interventional Radiologist, Medical Director Of Healthqare Associates

Murat Sor, MD

Murat Sor, MD, is an interventional radiologist and a leader in the field of vascular and interventional radiology, venous insufficiency and pain management. Dr. Sor specializes in dialysis access management and minimally invasive treatments for uterine fibroids, peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, varicoceles and more. He is the medical director of HealthQare Associates in Arlington, Virginia and Chief Medical Officer of Azura Vascular Care.

In addition to his role as HealthQare’s Medical Director, Dr. Sor is Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Azura Vascular Care and serves on its Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Sor is responsible for developing clinical strategies to ensure that the caliber of medical services Azura centers provide represents the highest standards of quality care and clinical outcomes. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in healthcare performance improvement as a practicing physician, Dr. Sor is the clinical leader of the organization and can best be described as a consensus builder with a collaborative style.

Dr. Sor earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and his residency in radiology and fellowship in interventional radiology at George Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Sor serves as an assistant professor at Georgetown University and an adjunct instructor at George Washington University Medical Center. Students rotate through HealthQare Associates as part of their training, gaining invaluable experience in the outpatient vascular access environment.

Dr. Sor has been named as a Washingtonian “Top Doctor” in interventional radiology for the years 2005, 2008 and 2017. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty certificate in interventional radiology.

Dr. Thomas Cade Raggio, MD, Interventional Radiologist at Azura Vascular Care

Thomas Cade Raggio, MD

Dr. Cade Raggio, MD is an interventional radiologist specializing in vascular and interventional radiology with several special areas of interest including uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), venous insufficiency, and interventional oncology. Dr. Raggio performs procedures at HealthQare Associates in Arlington, Virginia.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University, Dr. Raggio was awarded a medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internship in general medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago followed by a residency in radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC where he was named “Outstanding Resident of the Year” and was elected to serve as Chief Resident.  He completed fellowship training in interventional radiology at Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Raggio is an active member of the Society of Interventional radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the American Medical Association.
