Welcome to Connecticut Access Care/Connecticut Image Guided Surgery!
We proudly offer state-of-the-art, outpatient vascular care for arterial and venous disease to the communities in Fairfield, Connecticut and beyond. We are committed to maximizing patient health and happiness through minimally invasive treatments for a variety of vascular conditions, including dialysis access management, varicose veins, uterine fibroids and more. What once required large incisions and prolonged recovery periods can now be accomplished through minimally invasive procedures with less discomfort and a faster return to daily activities.
Since the opening of our practice in 2005, our patients’ care and comfort has been top of mind. Our family-like practice offers an inviting, clean and safe environment where every member of the staff is dedicated to delivering the best patient outcomes and experience possible, including providing conscious sedation, which allows for a comfortable experience during the procedure.
Our medical director, Dr. Mel Rosenblatt, is an interventional radiologist who is fellowship-trained and board certified in diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology. He uses sophisticated imaging tools to deliver precise therapy. The first in Connecticut to perform endovenous laser ablation and endovenous radiofrequency ablation, he continues to pioneer and improve diagnosis and treatment of venous disease in all its incarnations. Currently, he serves as the President of the American College of Phlebology (ACP), speaking frequently at their meetings as well as the Society for Interventional (SIR) Radiology meetings. Dr. Rosenblatt, our clinical team and the entire staff share a common goal of providing our patients with the highest level of expertise, continuity of care and responsiveness.
