Dr. Sallit Azura Vascular Care Cincinnati

Shadi Sallit, MD

Shadi Sallit, MD, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management and the interventional endovascular procedures which maintain the proper function of dialysis accesses and reduce potential disruptions of scheduled dialysis treatments. He is the Medical Director of Azura Vascular Care Cincinnati, located in Ohio.

Dr. Sallit earned his medical degree from University of Damascus in Syria and completed an internal medicine residency at University of Illinois at Chicago, Christ Medical Center. After his residency, he completed a fellowship in nephrology at Staten Island University Hospital, New York. He completed interventional nephrology training at American Access Care Brooklyn and obtained ASDIN certifications of advanced hemodialysis vascular access including port placement and peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter placement.

Drawn to nephrology and caring for dialysis-dependent patients, Dr. Sallit has researched and presented extensively on issues relevant to the field of nephrology. He is an active member of professional societies including the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.

Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Sallit is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
