Dietrich Schultze, MD

Interventional Radiologist

Dietrich Schultze, MD is an interventional radiologist with more than 20 years of experience treating patients using minimally invasive image-guided techniques.  He provides care for many different vascular conditions, from peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, uterine fibroids and varicoceles to ESRD patients in need of dialysis access management.  Dr. Schultze treats patients at Connecticut Access Care/Connecticut Image Guided Surgery in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Dr. Schultze earned his medical degree from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.  He completed his radiology residency and vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

In addition to academic appointments as Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor of Radiology, Dr. Schultze has served on many administrative and hospital committees.   His work also includes several peer reviewed publications in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, among others.

A member of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA) and Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), Dr. Schultze is board certified in diagnostic radiology and earned a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology.
