Rajiv Sharma, MD

Interventional Radiologist, Medical Director

Dr. Rajiv Sharma, MD is an interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management, superficial and deep venous disease therapies, peripheral arterial disease with a focus on chronic limb ischemia and limb salvage, and women’s health including uterine fibroids and pelvic venous insufficiency. He is the Medical Director of Connecticut Image Guided Surgery; Connecticut Access Care in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Dr Sharma earned his medical degree at the Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica and completed a preliminary surgery internship at St. John Providence Hospital, Southfield, Michigan. He then completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Michigan State University, Flint, Michigan followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at RUSH University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.

In his free time, he enjoys being active in sports, learning new hobbies and chasing after his three young children.

Dr. Sharma and his family have recently relocated from Florida to Connecticut to be closer to family and friends. He is passionate about being part of this community and he looks forward to seeing you soon.
