Mark Borowicz, MD, FACS, is a General and Vascular Surgeon specializing in dialysis access management, varicose veins, and the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Dr. Borowicz is the Medical Director of MidAtlantic Vascular in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Dr. Borowicz earned his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, followed by a vascular fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Medical Association, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the South Carolina Vascular Surgery Society, and the South Carolina Surgery Society. Dr. Borowicz has authored and co-authored several peer reviewed publications and presentations in his field of expertise.
