Dr. Jonathan Marx is an interventional radiologist highly experienced in all aspects of endovascular surgery, including dialysis access management, peripheral artery disease (PAD), and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), having performed thousands of minimally invasive procedures to treat these vascular conditions. He is the Medical Director of American Access Care of Baltimore at White Marsh.
Dr. Jonathan Marx earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ). He completed a radiology residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. Prior to specializing in radiology, Dr. Marx completed two years of a surgical residency program. He also completed a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. Dr. Marx spent nine years as an attending Interventional Radiologist at Johns Hopkins, instructing medical students, residents, and fellows.
An active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Dr. Marx was named ‘Top Doctor,’ Specialty in Interventional Radiology, as selected by his peers in the November 2011 issue of Baltimore Magazine.
Dr. Marx is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with subspecialty certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
