Radames Gonzalez Olivieri, MD, is a surgeon specializing in the creation of vascular accesses for dialysis patients. To ensure that a patient’s access remains fully functional, he also performs minimally invasive dialysis access management procedures at Interventional Ambulatory Center of Puerto Rico in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Gonzalez Olivieri earned his medical degree from University of Valencia Medical School in Valencia, Spain. He completed an internship at Humacao Area Hospital and a surgical residency at Ponce Regional Hospital.
The academic appointments of Dr. Gonzalez Olivieri through his work experience include Associate Professor of Surgery at Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico School of Medicine and for the Surgery Residency program in Ponce. He has also served on the Infectious Disease, Antibiotic, TPN and Blood Transfusion special committees within Damas Hospital of Ponce.
Dr. Gonzalez Olivieri, with 30 years of experience as a surgeon and 15 years in vascular access work, is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association, Puerto Rico Medical Association and the Vascular Access Society of the Americas.
