After being diagnosed with a varicocele nearly 40 years ago in my 20’s, I thought that constant pain after working out and uneven testicles were just a part of my life. Then, after some research, I learned about the minimally invasive procedure, Varicocele Embolization performed by Dr. Zachary Rattner at San Diego Access Care. I felt right at ease with Dr. Rattner and the whole staff. He explained everything to me before and during the procedure, and I never felt nervous. The procedure took less than an hour, I felt no pain at all and I was conscious the entire time. In less than a week I was recovered and in less than a month both my testicles were the same size. Three months later, and I have had no pain! Dr. Rattner is great and I highly recommend him for anyone looking to get a varicocele embolization.
