Azura Vascular Care brand launches in the Garden State with a Renal-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center

American Access Care of New Jersey renamed Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill

Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill LogoMalvern, Pa., January 30, 2018 — Azura Vascular Care today announced that, as part of its phased brand rollout, American Access Care of New Jersey will now be known as Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill—a partner of the Azura Vascular Care network of vascular and ambulatory surgery centers. Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill, a licensed and renal-focused ambulatory surgery center, is located at 207 South Kings Highway, Suite 2, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill operates under the medical directorship of Eyal Barzel, MD, and offers minimally invasive vascular procedures for dialysis access care and maintenance, including fistula salvage, angioplasty, thrombectomy, thrombolysis, stenting, central venous catheter placement and more. All treatments are performed safely and effectively in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to recover in the comfort of their home that same day.

Dr. Barzel has a loyal and dedicated patient following from near and far. “In the close to 15 years we’ve been known as American Access Care, we’ve evolved and grown. Our name may have changed, but our dedication to our patients remains the same,” said Dr. Barzel. “Providing personalized care to assure every patient has the best outcome possible is our commitment to this community and beyond.”

Dr. Barzel uses the latest techniques to treat vascular conditions and restore function to dialysis accesses. He is also an active contributor to advancing knowledge in the field. His scientific abstract, Tract dilatation to salvage failing buttonholes in dialysis fistulas, was exhibited at the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) 2017 annual meeting, further demonstrating his commitment to finding relevant clinical evidence, resulting in improved patient care.

“Dr. Barzel’s research on catheter-related infections helped improve patient safety while undergoing vascular procedures for patients in the greater Cherry Hill area and across the country,” said Dr. Gregg Miller, Vice President of Operations. “His clinical competence, in addition to his dedication to his patients, fits exactly with the Azura brand motto of delivering far more.”

Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill is licensed by the State of New Jersey and accredited by The Joint Commission. To learn more or to make an appointment, visit Azura Surgery Center Cherry Hill.
