Welcome to Snapfinger Vascular Access Center. Our practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive vascular care in the Decatur area. The services we offer include dialysis access management for ESRD patients.

Our goal is to provide every patient with outstanding service without sacrificing warmth or personal attention. Our physicians use the latest minimally invasive procedures to treat dysfunctional dialysis accesses in a caring and timely manner, emphasizing a quick return to regular dialysis treatments with a fully functioning access.

Prompt appointments: Patients avoid the complexities of a hospital admission. Same day/next day appointments are available to our ESRD patients so they may return to dialysis quickly, without interruption.

Exceptional patient care: Patients encounter a team that is courteous and respectful, never indifferent. Individual needs are accommodated to ensure patients are comfortable.

Efficient and customized communication: Communication with the referring staff, physicians and patients is a top priority; we provide follow-up reports to referring physicians within 24 hours post-procedure.

Educational programs: We promote patient education, for we believe that knowledge is the key to staying well.

Whether you have an AV fistula, AV graft, peritoneal dialysis catheter, or dialysis catheter, we have the proven treatments to ensure that your dialysis access will function safely and smoothly.

Dr Shukhrat Artikov, Interventional Nephrologist

Shukhrat Artikov, MD

After earning his MD, Dr. Artikov completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Rochester General Hospital in New York, followed by a residency in surgery at the National Research Center of Surgery in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension, as well as a fellowship in interventional nephrology at the Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami – Miller Medical School in Florida. Dr. Artikov is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. An active member of The American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology and The American Society of Nephrology, he is also the author of several articles on AV fistulas. Prior to joining FVC, Dr. Artikov built and staffed an outpatient access center for his former nephrology practice. He states his medical philosophy, “I am truly passionate about doing the best for my patients. My intense focus is to do my utmost best for all patients. I am proud that the quality of my work is complimented by others. I also try my best to reduce waiting times so that patients will spend more time with their families instead of waiting procedures in our centers…”
Dr. Salman Singapuri, MD, Interventional Nephrologist at Azura Vascular Care

Salman Singapuri, MD

Salman Singapuri, MD, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in the critical maintenance, management and treatment of vascular accesses for dialysis patients. Dr. Singapuri practices at two centers in Decatur, Georgia: Atlanta Access Care and Snapfinger Vascular Access. Dr. Singapuri earned his medical degree from Baqai Medical & Dental College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida and University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his time in Birmingham, Dr. Singapuri was Chief Medical Resident and Instructor of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in nephrology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where he also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Singapuri is a published author and experienced researcher and has received several awards and recognition for his work. He is a fellow of American Society of Nephrology, American College of Physicians and American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, where he serves on the membership committee. He is fluent in Urdu and Hindi. Dr. Singapuri is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine and he is also ASDIN certified.
