Board-certified and fellowship trained medical director, Jesse Uyeda, MD, leads a team of physicians who have a thorough understanding of patients suffering from vascular disease and its impact on their quality of life. Dr. Jesse Uyeda, MD, Interventional Nephrologist at Azura Vascular Care

Jesse Uyeda, MD

Jesse Uyeda, MD, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in the critical maintenance and management of vascular accesses for dialysis patients.  Dr. Uyeda addresses the causes of dialysis access dysfunction and takes a minimally invasive approach to treat these problems.  He currently practices at Bay Area Vascular Center in Houston, Texas.

After graduating cum laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Uyeda earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, followed by a nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Dr. Uyeda is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Gordon Martin

Gordon Martin, MD

Dr. Gordon Martin is a vascular surgeon specializing in AVF creations, AVF ligations, and aneurysm repairs. Dr. Martin treats patients at Bay Area Vascular Center using the most up-to-date, pain-free techniques to help patients improve their quality of life.

Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He went on to complete his internship and residency in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, followed by a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Martin is certified as a registered vascular specialist and certified in advanced trauma and cardiac life support. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of several societies including the Texas Surgical Society, Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery and American Medical Association.

Naveed U. Saqib

Naveed U. Saqib, MD

Dr. Naveed Saqib is a vascular surgeon specializing in AVF creations, AVF ligations, and aneurysm repairs. Dr. Saqib treats patients at Bay Area Vascular Center using the most up-to-date, pain-free techniques to help patients improve their quality of life.

Dr. Saqib earned his medical degree from the King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He went on to complete his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, followed by a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Saqib was awarded Top Doctor in Vascular Surgery by the Houstonia Magazine in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Dr. Saqib is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery and apart of several societies and professional organizations including the Texas Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Society for Vascular Surgery and Society of Clinical and Vascular Surgery.
