Dr. Bakhtiar Amin, MD, FASDIN

Dr. Amin is an experienced interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. He performs minimally invasice procedures to treat dysfunctional vascular accesses, providing critical care and maintenance to those with a dialysis access. Dr. Amin is the medical director of Azura Vascular Care Cincinnati.

Dr. Amin earned his medical degree from Hawler Medical University in Erbil, Iraq. He went on to complete his internship at the Directorate of Health of Erbil, in Erbil, Iraq, and residency and fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dr. Amin serves on the ASDIN Advisor Board for PD Catheter Placement and is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.

We know vascular care. Our specialty is the critical maintenance and management of dialysis accesses. Dr. Bakhtiar Amin treats and manages a range of vascular access issues using the latest in minimally invasive techniques in a safe and comfortable outpatient setting. We provide individualized care in a timely fashion so that you can return to your normal routine with minimal disruption to your regular dialysis schedule. Dr. Amin also performs Coil Embolization and Ligation of Axillary Vein.

Rishi Razdan, MD, board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology, is the Medical Director of the facility and leads this highly trained clinical team specializing in dialysis access management for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), minimally invasive vascular procedures, and image-guided oncologic treatments.
