Located in Plantation, Florida, we treat vascular disease in a minimally invasive fashion by utilizing sophisticated imaging tools as guidance to deliver precise therapy. Our experienced and dedicated staff offers dialysis access management, and treatment for many vascular conditions, including uterine fibroids and more. What once required large incisions and prolonged recovery periods can now be accomplished with minimal discomfort and a quick return to normal activities.

Prompt appointments: For our ESRD patients we offer same day/next day appointments when at all possible, allowing you to return to dialysis quickly. Convenient scheduling of appointments is also available for the other treatments we provide. At our center, patients avoid the complexities of a hospital admission, allowing you to return home to recover that same day.

Exceptional patient care: Patients encounter a team that is courteous and respectful. Individual needs are accommodated to ensure patients are comfortable.

Efficient and customized communication: Immediate post-procedure reports are sent, and comprehensive reports follow within 24 hours after the procedure. We partner with your physician care team, focusing on coordinating your vascular care.

Educational programs: We provide opportunities for patients to enhance their understanding of their vascular condition. We actively encourage patients to become their own experts by providing educational support through our website, patient brochures, and educational sessions.

Naveen Goel, Interventional Nephrologist, Medical Director

Naveen Goel, MD

Naveen Goel, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management, including critical maintenance procedures. Procedures Dr. Goel performs include angioplasty, fistulograms, fistula maturation, Miller Procedure for steal syndrome, thombolysis/thrombectomy, vessel mapping and complete catheter care. Dr. Goel is the Medical Director of American Access Care in Plantation, Florida. Dr. Goel graduated from MS University, Baroda Medical College in India and completed his internal medicine training at SUNY, Long Island College Hospital, New York. In recognition of his excellence in practice and research, Dr. Goel was awarded a certificate of recognition by the Kidney and Urology Foundation of America for his research on “Pulmonary Hypertension in Dialysis Patients.” Dr. Goel, in partnership with Gregg Miller, MD, also pioneered work in the treatment of Dialysis-Associated Steal Syndrome (DASS) and authored a landmark paper titled, “Minimally Invasive Limited Ligation Endoluminal Revision for Dialysis-Associated Steal Syndrome,” published in Kidney International in 2006. Dr. Goel's groundbreaking work in nephrology is widely recognized within the community and has fueled the growth of his practice. He advances the delivery of patient care through teamwork and a robust education program for patients and dialysis caregivers. Dr. Goel currently serves on the Medical Advisory Board of Azura Vascular Care. He is also a member of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the National Kidney Foundation, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Naveen Goel is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine.
Dr. Amit Kamra, MD, Interventional Radiologist at Azura Vascular Care

Amit Kamra, MD

Amit Kamra, MD, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. He performs the latest in minimally invasive treatments and provides a broad range of services for dialysis access management, including fistula salvage, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, thrombolysis, port placements and more. He treats patients at American Access Care of Florida in Plantation, Florida. Dr. Kamra earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India, graduating with academic honors. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. After his residency, Dr. Kamra fulfilled multiple fellowships in New York, including congestive heart failure at Beth Israel Medical Center and nephrology at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Kamra participated in numerous studies, presented at national and international scientific meetings, and also coauthored an article that was published in a medical journal. He is an active member of American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology, Renal Physicians Association and National Kidney Foundation. In addition to speaking English, Dr. Kamra is conversationally competent in Spanish and Hindi. His personal interests include golf, sports and traveling. Dr. Kamra is board certified in internal medicine, nephrology and hypertension.
Dr Todd Schwartz, Interventional Radiologist

Todd Schwartz, DO

Todd D. Schwartz, DO is an interventional radiologist specializing in minimally invasive techniques, including uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty for pain management, biopsy, as well as treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and venous compression syndrome.  He practices at American Access Care in Plantation, Florida. Dr. Schwartz earned his undergraduate degree from University of South Florida in Tampa and completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida. He completed an internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Schwartz is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology and is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
