Committed to delivering optimal clinical outcomes

Azura Vascular Care is a physician-led organization that recognizes the critical role physicians play in the growth and development of the company.  Our Medical Advisory Board (MAB) members, led by our Chief Medical Officer (CMO), are distinguished physicians  chosen for their multidisciplinary expertise, thought leadership and geographic representation to provide insight and scientific direction to the organization.

In addition to serving on the MAB, the physician members all serve on at least one of the following subcommittees:

  • Clinical Informatics Board
  • Credentialing
  • Leadership & Development
  • Peer Review
  • Quality
  • Research
  • Strategic Sourcing

Several of the MAB physicians also serve as Regional Medical Officers (RMO).  The RMOs work closely with the CMO and Regional Vice Presidents to advance clinical excellence, assist in regional strategy development, promote business objectives within the physician community and enhance physician-to-physician communication.

The RMOs conduct quarterly regional physician forums, participate in physician training and vetting, and mentoring.

The purpose of the MAB, subcommittees and RMOs includes reviewing and analyzing clinical quality, defining areas for improvement, and integrating the best clinical practices to assure the delivery of individualized best-in-class care resulting in optimal patient outcomes.
